I've narrowed it down to the following 2

Here are my vacation requirements

1. I am staying in Tamil Nadu and looking for a place not too far from tamil nadu

2. The vacation should be inexpensive

3. There should be lots of sightseeing opportunities with natural scenic beauty like lakes or waterfalls or tea gardens or whatever

4. Most importantly, the weather now should be dry

5. Looking to spend about 5 days

I am sure there will be a lot of less known places in Karnataka, AP or TN itself (Kerala would be too rainy now). Please let me know if you are aware of any such places meeting the above requirements

The scientist kamalhaasan who gets united with the lead actress Asin towards the end of the film - are they meant to be understood as rebirths / reincarnations of Rangaraja Nambi (who is killed at the beginning of the movie)and his wife? They get separated at the beginning of the movie and they get united again towards the end (in a different life). Is this how the story is to be understood?

And how is chaos theory and butterfly effect related to the story exactly? I didnt quite understand. Just wanted to get your opinions before watching the movie again.

This post might be slightly biased towards shoppers in the USA and in fact since I shop in the USA suggestions should probably focus on USA based businesses.

So, I hate Wal-Mart, but it is a one stop shop and they generally have lower prices than most other places. Speaking of super markets specifically most places around where I live (Price Chopper, Lipari's, etc) are usually 20% higher on general items than Wal-Mart.

I'm not adverse to going to multiple places but considering gas prices and what not I'd like to be able to limit my driving. I realize most of you can't speak for the Kansas City area but where do you do your bulk purchasing of food and general goods (toiletries, etc)? We've started buying our meat ...

What do you think of the proposed "spinning building" set to be built in Dubai? It looks pretty cool to me, although I can't imagine living in something like that.

It does have some interesting features like wind turbines.

Six months ago I heard there was an opportunity to take part in an entry level Java training program through a company my father works for called Accenture.

Three months ago due to your help I was able to pass the Sun Certified Java Associate (barely.... shhhhhh.....) on my first try.

Today I (per my plan) used my certification as a stickpoint in my interview with Accenture and got into the entry level Java training program which guarantees (if the program is passed) placement at one of Accenture's clients at a more than meaningful wage.

Here is the short list I remember of those who have answered my questions and helped me to become the (very basic and minimally skilled yet apparently heretofore acceptab...

Guy Maddin is my favorite director, but unless you live in an "art house" metropolis, his films are rather difficult to see due to extremely limited engagements. Fortunately, most of his titles eventually make their way to DVD. (His last feature, The Brand Upon the Brain, is debuting on the Criterion label this fall. I've waited years for this film, but as far as I know, it never screened in Minneapolis.)

I have SIPs for a few MFs which I purchased through ICICI Direct. In January, I redeemed all my MFs just before the market collapsed. Hence, I made some short term capital gains. Now what are the tax implications. My understanding is that I have to pay STT (Securities Transaction Tax). Does ICICI Directly automatically charge STT when I redeem. Or do I have to pay it myself when I file my returns. If I have to do it, what all documents do I need to produce. I know the amount of the profit I made. Can I just put down the amount when I file my returns or do I need to have any supporting documentation. Will a statement of all my MF transactions for the financial year suffice. Please help.

Has any rancher been to Paris international ?

I need small piece of information about Paris airport.

How are duty free shops in Paris? While coming to Germany I was there for 2-3 hrs, but could not find any good duty free shops.

My earlier experience with Frankfurt airport is that you can shop anything there. And you can plan to buy stuff from there.

I want to buy some chocolates, perfumes and may be some liqour.
But I am not sure, whether I should wait till I reach Paris airport or should I buy those stuff here, in local market.

I was on vacation for a week at Munnar in India. If you guys are looking for a spot to chill off in India I suggest you go there. There are tea plantations everywhere and the entire place is green. Its about 14 degrees now and goes to 0 and below in december. It would take about 2 - 6 days to see the surroundings based on how much time you have to spend. The tourism police seem to be doing a good job of keeping the plastic and crap out, but there is the odd junk lying here and there.

How do you think the merger will effect the world-wide beer market?

I live in St. Louis, the home of AB. there's a lot of talk here about what this would do to our city - the loss of prestige, the economic hit we'd take...

most of the white-collar jobs would probably go eventually. also, the St. Louis brewery is the oldest, and most expensive to run, of all the AB breweries (at least, that's what i've heard).

Yesterday evening after coming out of the office I got a direct bus to my home which takes 40 minutes to reach. I watched the hillarious show "Just for laughs" in the bus. I started laughing like anything and not able to control laughter.

I am surprised that people in the bus werelooking at the show very seriously as if they were watching horror movie. I am the only guy laughing at the show in the bus. Am I a specimen?
