Hosting provider (GoDaddy) does not allow any kind of writing to filesystem except to /tmp folder. Any other attempt will end in security exception.             <description>Hi ranchers,&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;am working on a billing project where i create a CDR record for each sussccful transaction the user do.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;this CDR record is used to deduct from the user credit.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;am using log4j to do this logging, but when i was trying a demo to ensure the success of using log4j, i faced this problem:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;am using two diffrent machines to log in the same file at the same time tryin to simulate the billing process. and each machine should log 1000 record, so finally i should have in the logging file 2000 records, but i didn't find the 2000 records instead i found 1980 record.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;this is a disaster to me ..am working on a very critical part of the project which is the billing part if anything is ...</description>

            <description>Hi All,&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;I want to write some data in file, but I just want to ignore all other things, which just get in file because of log4j default implementation. &lt;br /&gt;Is there any alternative by which I can use all other functionalities of log4j without appending other information.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;I am not sure, but may be I need to over-write some user defined appender to get this done.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Any inputs.....&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Let me know, if I am not clear while pointing out my concerns.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Thanks</description>

            <description>Hi All&lt;br /&gt; I am facing problem with displaytag properties files in was6.1.Previously i am using was5.0 with displaytag1.0 - in that what ever value configured in displaytag.properties file,the values are reflected while running the application.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;But while using was6.1,i just migrated the displaytag1.0 to diaplytag1.1,and also i configured required version of jar files to support displaytag1.1 in was6.1.Its also working fine.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;But the problem is,the value configured in the displayteg.properties file are not reflected while running the application.Its just getting the default values from the displaytag1.1.jar file and not from the locale created displaytag.properties file setted values in webcontent/web-inf folder.&lt;br ...</description>
