WSDP tutorials not running.

after a lot of effort i managed to integrate sun java application server 8.2 and WSDP 1.6 .

But when i run the tutorial example saaj-book i get this message.

There was an error in constructing or sending message.

Somebody please help me

following is the screen shot from the j2ee1.4 tutorial, release 7, meant for sun application server 8.2.

wht i want to ask is, will following the yellow part of the diagram below, and studying the coffee break application, cover everything on the exam?

The onl item that seems like a block, on the way to coffee break appliation is: JSF. being a wcd, i know servelets and jsp.

I have installed the server 8.2 and WSDP2.0 some time back,

but i havent yet opened any dialog box of the sever/wsdp pack.

does wsdp have a screen, which shows up whn started, .

also on my c:, there is a folder created C:\sun, i hitnk the server is in here. how do i start the admin console etc..???

I want to start preparing for the SCDJWS. Could you please tell me just ONE single the best book/guide for learning WS and starting my preparation. Later on when I'll have some experience on WS by reading that book, I can go thru the other books.

This objective is not covered in RMH and MZ either. i searched about this it but couldn't find anything please help me, from where i can read about this

Hi all

I am trying to follow a tutorial on this link (http://www.onjava.com/lpt/a/1578)

Axis1.4 is installed properly.

When I compile the client class to the webservice, i get some compiler errors. I have added all the required jars to the classpath, as said in the tutorial.

Please help.

But nothing is clear to me. I am thinking,

What is the exact use of the array and data types?
What is the purpose that they exist for?

The actor attribute in a SOAP message, helps a node to identify which headers in the message, it's supposed to process.

The fragment for a SOAP XML message for above concept is:

so this is like the message saying 'process me if you play the logger role'
I am curious to know some similar code fragement from the node's side.

A dead basic question. How do we get the client end point details to send the SOAP response after processing client's request?. i.e, In servlet if we want to send the response, we are writing the content into the "servlet response". The objective sheet talks only about XML namespaces and their correctness based on the BP1.0

Does this also include all the stuff on XML chapters 2,3 in RMH? I mean
the inheritance: simple and complex, the data types, imports includes list unions etc etc??

The XML schema import include is a good read in RMH

but the supporting XML fragments are quite large ans they are not making me really appriciate the difference between the two.

Just to validate my version numbers:

This exam caters to the BP Version 1.0, SOAP 1.1.
There are also many stnadards/api that are included for the exam.
Whar are the version numbers for them that the exam targets?

Well these are the steps I followed:

Step 1: obviously first step was to look for some good book...had heard alot about RMH but cudnt get its soft copy.So i went for some Watsh Rajneesh pdf which was available online......that was a risk but it paid off.....its a concise form of all what is required in the exam.....i opted for reading some 300 pages rather going for some 900 pages of RMH.....mind you, you should be having some prior knowledge about Web services if you want to opt for this pdf.......so I read the whole pdf....it took me around 10 days(30 pages per day)...

step 2:straightaway jumped to online mock exam available on xyzws...

My opinion correct answer could be:2,3
As far as I know EJB endpoints supports multiple thread transactions where servlet end points doesnt.
