I was introduced to computers by a friend who owned an Amstrad CPC 464 (yes, with tapes). I received an Amstrad 6128 (yes, with floppy disks!) and started programming in BASIC. I graduated in Computer Science at the I.U.T. of Nantes (France), and Bsc(Hnrs) Computer Studies at N.E.W.I (Wrexham, Wales). I worked for a year and a half in France, before moving to Japan in 2001, and I am now working in Tokyo. I own SCJP, SCWCD and SCBCD certificates, as well as various certifications in English, Japanese and Chinese. My main pastime is playing Shamisen, a Japanese music instrument, and learning foreign languages.
